Voice of Jesus – John 10:27-30 Reflection
Do you hear the voice of Jesus, maybe not even realizing it? Most of the time, what we “hear” is just a feeling to read the Word, go to church, or love wells up in your heart. Sometimes Jesus calls out to us more uniquely, especially when we know we are in the presence of Christ. Intuition rising to the surface can also be the voice of Jesus, increasing and mingling divine thoughts with our own. If you take the time to be silent with God, you will likely be able to follow the Spirit’s lead as the voice of love between Father and Son. Giving of yourself in time, talent, or treasure is also our heart listening for Jesus’s voice.

John 10:27-30 Scripture (NRSV Bible)
27 My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”
