John 12:24-26 Reflection – Glorious Fruit

Reflection on John 12:24-26 ~

Have you dared attempt to allow the Holy Spirit to work through you when you were in the world? Are you kind, just, righteous, compassionate, loving, and consistent in prayer in order to help bring those of the world, out of the world? This is what Jesus is asking of us. He mingled with those of the world and some came to believe.  If we let ourselves mature into harvestable grain, we can also help others fall and germinate on holy ground into visible glorious fruit.

John 12  New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)

24 Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. 25 Those who love their life lose it, and those who hate their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honor.
