As Jesus prepares for the greatest trial of an innocent in the history of the world, some believers cannot take the stress of their association with him. Their behavior betrays a lack of faith, acting as if they were never in His presence. Isn’t this what happens when we get angry, jealous, judgmental, or let pride surface? Or how about the spiritual and time commitment of following Jesus? How can this happen with the truth and knowledge that Jesus saves us? What is our response when we slip into sin and then later remember His offering of himself for us?
