Luke 9:1-6 Reflection – Share Jesus with Others

Reflection on Luke 9:1-6 ~

Fifteen years ago, I transitioned from Lord I will do a little for you, to an always on Yes. The worldly circumstances of my life have radically changed, mostly outside of my control.  I can’t remember the last time I really wanted something personal. Normal barriers have been broken so that within my encounters humble Christianity opens an opportunity for spiritual healing. It has become second nature for me to be ease with experiencing the invitation to share Jesus with others.

Luke 9  New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)

The Mission of the Twelve

Then Jesus called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal. He said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money—not even an extra tunic. Whatever house you enter, stay there, and leave from there. Wherever they do not welcome you, as you are leaving that town shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” They departed and went through the villages, bringing the good news and curing diseases everywhere.
