Mark 6:53-56 Reflection – Touch Jesus’s Cloak

Reflection on Mark 6:53-56 ~

I have to admit that many adult years passed until I began to deeply believe Trinity lived within, influencing everything I am if I allow it. In all honestly, I knew the call since youth, but it now seems I was not ready. When I finally asked to touch Jesus’s cloak, a holistic healing began, some of which I cannot properly describe. A certainty has risen to the surface; I had to be present to others. At first I kept track of the number of times that I know Trinity inside affected someone else, now I just accept the reality.

Healing the Sick in Gennesaret

When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret and moored the boat. 54 When they got out of the boat, people at once recognized him, 55 and rushed about that whole region and began to bring the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was. 56 And wherever he went, into villages or cities or farms, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged him that they might touch even the fringe of his cloak; and all who touched it were healed.
