Matthew 10:26-33 Reflection – To all You Encounter | Immersive Prayer
In the St. John of the Cross contemplative tradition, “dark” means any sense of God’s presence becomes hidden away from all perception, and only undeniable intense faith prevails. Within this dark, the Spirit speaks in ways that only your soul can understand, invisible to the prying eyes of the other side. What becomes infused within then belongs close to 100% to all you encounter. This exchange then permeates from the soul in micro amounts into the rest of your being, and what was dark becomes visible only to you. As long as you test the Spirit and use prudence to know what to let rise to the surface, you can share some of what has been given in the dark without any fear.
