Matthew 12:46-50 Reflection ~
My faith family is my community, rock, and place where I can go for my spiritual needs. I have a close spiritual family, stretching out to church and those who believe as I do. My community of brothers and sisters continues outward to those who have left their earthly bodies behind. I know they pray that Grace may allow me further to open my heart to the will of our Father to expand my family horizons beyond total strangers I have met and yet to meet. My burning desire is to comprehend how we, as believers of the divine, can unite as we will in heaven in the here and now.

Matthew 12:46-50 – Scripture (NRSV Bible)
The True Kindred of Jesus
46 While he was still speaking to the crowds, his mother and his brothers were standing outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Look, your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” 48 But to the one who had told him this, Jesus replied, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 And pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
