Have you ever heard the voice crying out from the desert? It can be startling and beautiful at the same time. It is not easy to respond as if it is “the one thing” we must do. There is a slow revealing of the depth of obligations that go with the commitment. As we learn to accept what God asked of us, our path will be made straight.
