Prayer to not Judge – Reflection on Matthew 7:1-5
Lord, praise you for letting me see the truth of how easy it is for me to judge or be hypocritical of others’ faults. You have made it possible for me to become aware of my faults that need honest reflection and correction through an interior lens. While quite painful, I pray and desire that you continue to let me uncover and change my negative hidden natures to learn to not judge. I know the other items on my list to change remain exceedingly long, but I trust you will help me reduce each impact on me and others one by one, no matter how small.

Judging Others
7 “Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. 2 For with the judgment you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. 3 Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your neighbor, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while the log is in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor’s eye.
