Friday of the Fifth Week of Lent
The claim: that I am a child of God. Witness to miracles, yes. Love God and neighbor, yes. Good works, yes. Listen to the Word, yes. Community, yes. Christ inside is my brother, yes. Forgive others, yes. Am I blaspheming, yes – but mine is against the status quo of society disconnecting what should be an integrated faith life. Yes, there are stones, but, as a child of God, I am protected by the Cross. (Jn 10:31-42)
