The For the Good of the Order website is based on my book For the Good of the Order, which has positive stories and reflections for any organization that uses Rules of Order for meetings. Roberts Rules of Order include a seldom used optional “For the Good of the Order.” At the end of your meeting, positive and uplifting closing thoughts can help your organization and members become even better at contributing to a vibrant and constructive society.
Sheltering Tree Earth Publishing specializes in uplifting, inspirational, and positive adult, juvenile, and young adult fiction and nonfiction, including poetry, native histories, ancient spiritual paths, sermons, Lectio Divina, and pastoral and rabbinical resources in English, French, Spanish, and Indigenous languages. Sheltering Tree has just released my book For the Good of the Order. It is available on Amazon in Kindle and soft and hard copies.
Artisans of Jesus – I have recently joined Artisans of Jesus, who concretely help each other online to express Jesus’ Vision. Artisans of Jesus use our God-given talents of expression and making that we have nurtured through practice and education, and our creativity, in participation with The Creator, to express God in all media. Specifically, we strive to speak of Jesus and His Vision in accurate yet creative ways to our world’s particular challenges and to the classic issues that have persisted through time.
Additional Thoughts
Would you like to contribute related thoughts to these Lectio reflections on the Gospel readings? Since Lectio is not the only contemplative prayer style, others might appreciate these types of expressions in this ministry. Do you see God’s grandeur everywhere and unconditionally enjoy sharing the love of Christ that you have inside? Are you willing to be anonymous in what you would share? If so, email me.
Prayer for young families:
Lord, let the young families of our communities get to know your joy, peace, comfort, and love despite worldly distractions.
