Accepting the “I Am He” of Jesus includes receiving Trinity as The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. When we acknowledge Trinity inside, we also recognize that there are benefits. One of the most significant is the increase in our desire to be God-like. The interior warming of our hearts humbles us to freely bow down to wash others’ feet and seek opportunities to show our mercy, compassion, and love. Our virtues rise to the surface, pushing aside vices that could hold us back from hearing and knowing Jesus even better.

Additional Eastertide Reflections
John 13:16-20 – Scripture*
16 Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them. 17 If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them. 18 I am not speaking of all of you; I know whom I have chosen. But it is to fulfill the scripture, ‘The one who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me.’ 19 I tell you this now, before it occurs, so that when it does occur, you may believe that I am he. 20 Very truly, I tell you, whoever receives one whom I send receives me; and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.”
