Exalted to Heaven – Reflection on Luke 10:13-16
We have “been there and done that” through our unique woes, but we should prefer not to dwell on them. They are in the past and can be forgotten or forgiven. It would be best to spend time showing others a glimpse of our still-veiled but wonderous view of heaven that we have “seen” and understood. Isn’t that what Jesus is asking from any Christian? Jesus wants us two by two to create or focus our excess time, talent, and treasure. Others need us despite being within our own time’s Chorazin. We should live the Word as if we wish to reach our ultimate destination of being exalted to Heaven, unimaginable and greater than what we have already tasted.

Luke 10:13-16 – Scripture*
Woes to Unrepentant Cities
13 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the deeds of power done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But at the judgment it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 15 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades.16 “Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me, and whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.”
