Flowing Grace – Luke 6:36-38 Reflection
In physics, echoes that return louder than the original sound began are impossible, but it is not the same with God’s mercy and judgment through Grace. This is because God gives us the gift of the ability to amplify the echo greater than its origin. Remarkably, without realizing it, we add the value of human hands, feet, and mind to extend where each or all needs to be. We often receive unlimited flowing grace from God without knowing it, including its path or destination. Through and with our “shaken together,” Divine grace can raise our neighbor’s hope, settle an argument, bring peace into a struggling situation, change a sinner’s heart, or heal an inner wound. Thoughtful, silent prayer and reflection open our hearts to add our human participation with the Grace that runs over, measured out from God for its intended purpose. The echo formed within when we sometimes realize our role can bring great joy from the measure we get back as it surfaces from our soul.

Luke 6:36-38 – Scripture*
36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
Judging Others
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven; 38 give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.”
